Safe Removal Of Existing Amalgam (Mercury) Fillings

Dr. Mele has extensive training in the safe removal of amalgam (mercury) restorations. He uses OSHA guidelines and natural remedies prior to removing mercury (Hg) and other heavy metals from the body to prepare the body for the procedure. He has been using a mercury separator in the office to protect the environment for many years before separators became mandatory. 

His protocol includes:

• Evaluating your whole body mercury levels

• Dr. Mele uses natural remedies to reduce it to a safer level via the colon by way of the stool prior to removing the amalgam (mercury) filling.

• When removing the amalgam filling, Dr. Mele uses protective barriers during the procedure to protect the patients and the staff from mercury vapors that come off the amalgam as it is being removed with high-speed equipment and copious water spray in an isolated setting.

Dr. Mele training includes receiving a fellowship in the Institute For Natural Dentistry. Dr. Mele is a Certified Nutritional Consultant and Diplomate Member of the American Association of Nutritional Consultants, a member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, and the Holistic Dental Association.
